This is a record of my ongoing mission to find novels, erotica, stories etc., which feature femdom to some extent, which I like. Books that inspire me, turn me on, give a glimpse into another world. The criteria are wide: strong female characters; submissive male characters; discovering or progressing a bdsm relationship; hot love or sex scenes; interesting relationship arcs; F/m power dynamics.*
*This list is not, and never will be, comprehensive.
I tend to like books that speak positively about women, kink and femdom, within the remit of the book. For instance, I don't expect a historical romance to be femdom positive, but I do expect it to be positive about female agency. If a book deals with kink, I expect it to portray kink in a responsible and enlightened way. Anything not directly dealt with should be neutral (e.g. no inadvertent racism).
I favor stories with strong women who don't take any nonsense, because I like to read about women I can empathize with. I favor happy ever afters, or something close, because I'm a closet softy.
For more about me generally, see the interview I did with the awesome Dishevelled Domina.
I hope you will consider a review and the addition of the works by Vanessa London to your blog. The books are available through Amazon and www.a1adultebooks.com/ebooks/.
ReplyDeleteI believe turning human males into willing, desirable and well trained pets (not slaves) falls well within the realm of femdom writing. Most of the males in the stories are given the chance to really become truly fulfilled pets in all that they really desire as enhanced, owned pets owned and trained by accomplished trainers / Mistresses.
There are three titles so far about training puppy boys with more to come.
As a sub male, I find book each has been a terrific and exciting read. There are several more books planned and I look forward to them with great anticipation. It seems very likely that if your readers give the concept a change, many will find the idea of training and owning their very own puppy boy as exciting and practical as I have.
I look forward to you review / reply.
Well, probably not my thing. But perhaps readers of the blog will like to hear about their these books.
DeleteHave you gone into hiding? To many months since the last entry from you.
